A cast and blast combines guided fishing ("cast") and upland bird hunting ("blast") in one trip. With Hammer Down, that means chukar hunting in Hells Canyon's legendary habitat plus bass, steelhead, or salmon fishing, all accessed by jet boat.

People are welcome to use our trained dogs or bring their own. Please call us to figure out what would be best for your trip.
You'll need a valid Idaho hunting license with an upland game bird permit, plus an Idaho fishing license (and salmon/steelhead permit in season). Both are easy to purchase online from Idaho Fish and Game.
No, gratuity is not included. Tips are never required, but they're always appreciated by your guides.
