What is the Haulin' Bass Fishing Tournament?
It's Hammer Down's summer smallmouth bass tournament in Hells Canyon on the Snake River. Teams of 6-10 anglers compete for individual and team prizes, fishing some of the highest-count bass water in the country.
When does the tournament run?
From the second week of July through the third week of August each summer, with tournament fishing running 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pick the week that works for your team and register.
How much does it cost to enter?
$275 per person, which includes your tournament day (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM) of guided fishing aboard our jet boats.
How many fish can we really catch?
Last year's winning team boated 1,100 bass. No, that's not a typo. Hells Canyon smallmouth fishing really is that good.
Do we need our own boat or gear?
No boat needed. You fish from our jet boats with our guides. Bring your favorite bass setup if you like, or use our quality gear.
Is gratuity included?
No, gratuity is not included. Tips are never required, but they're always appreciated by your guides.
Can beginners join a tournament team?
Absolutely. The bass are aggressive and plentiful, which makes it one of the most fun events all summer for seasoned sticks and first-timers alike.
